Seven years ago, I moved to Vancouver Island.  Soon afterwards, an exhibition opportunity came up at TOSH (The Old School House) in Qualicum Beach.  The juried exhibit was held to celebrate Canada's 150th and I was eager to participate.  I developed the silk painting "From Sea to Sea to Sea".  I have dipped my toes into all three oceans and felt a connection to the theme.

A Tale of Triptychs

This summer, I created four silk banner triptychs, which hung in the MacMillan Centre in Parksville.  Painting on three hanging panels allows the light to penetrate and adds to the organic experience of the piece.  Three of the four were made without patterns, risky but the outcomes are worth it!

I was advised to develop a logo for my studio when planning my website. I enlisted my niece’s daughter for this project, and she was eager to help.
