Dianne's love of the land and nature became her focus for her acrylic and watercolour paintings. Her paintings of fish, especially salmon, became renowned. The design remains one of her signatures to this day.

During her time in Fort Liard, N.W.T., she discovered painting on silk and all that this medium offered. She welcomes commissions.
